I am so excited to share our Lunar New Year photo shoot we shot in San Francisco’s Chinatown. The inspiration for this photo shoot are the Puma RS-X Chinese New Year sneakers. The remixed cubed sneaker with brilliant red, black and gold couldn’t be more perfect for celebrating the Chinese New Year and my red Supreme hoodie with the gold Supreme is totally on point and really makes my outfit.
With each pair of Puma RS-X sneakers I get, it gets tougher to pick a favorite. Puma has taken their Running System (RS) retro running technology that includes the amazing cushioning from the forefoot through the heel along with stronger upper materials and a fabulous color combo of blues, blacks and hot coral with a hot cubed design and put it all into the Level Up Sneaker.
Gary and I headed to the playground to shoot these RS-X³ Level Up Sneakers and we planned to have some serious fun!! The shoes feel so good on my feet and one thing many of you may not know real talk for a moment is that I suffer a lot from cramps in my legs and feet (I can get them pretty bad in my toes, arches, shins etc.) and it is very hard to find sneakers that I can wear but when my husband turned me onto the RS-X style from Puma, I cannot tell you how happy I was and that my life changed because I hadn’t worn sneakers in years (I just couldn’t find a pair where I didn’t get foot cramps) until I slipped my tootsies into the RS-X style. The style really molds to the shape of my feet and the extreme cushioning makes it feel like I am walking on air.
I love how these Level Up Sneakers move so effortlessly up and down the steps on the playground and all around too!! It felt so freeing to play like a kid and enjoy the outdoors. Also, these are a seriously stylish pair of kicks!! If you suffer from foot troubles too, you might want to consider trying the Puma RS style and see if it can provide some stylish relief like it has for me. I wear my RS-X styles when I walk and exercise. Hope you all are having a lovely holiday season.

Review: Puma x Rubik’s Cube
Puma just keeps releasing the most colorful and fun shoes!! These are the new Puma collab with Rubik’s Cube for their Puma x Rubik’s Cube collection. The sneakers are the fabulous Puma RS-X3 shoes and are full of colorblocking and Rubik’s Cube detailing that you’ll find on the laces (actual colorful square beads) left shoe has orange, yellow, blue and right shoe has green, white, and red beads. Inside the shoe where your heel goes is the iconic Rubik’s Cube logo and the Puma logo. The back of the shoes has the Rubik’s branding. The soles on these shoes are as hot as the colorblocks!!
This is a men’s shoe but, Puma does a great job at making their shoes unisex and I love that!! Wearing these shoes I couldn’t believe Puma made them even cushier and I felt like I was walking on clouds. I seriously love the RS-X shoes and especially this colorful Rubik’s Cube colorway. Snap up yours before they are all sold out!!

With Christmas just around the corner, I am feeling nostalgic and reminiscing about my childhood when my older brother would pull out his Polaroid camera and snap photos during the family gatherings. Nothing could beat the instant photo that slid out of that camera for everyone to see. Memories were instantly captured and guests could even leave with their very own Polaroid picture to remember the event.
The Polaroid instant film camera was a huge hit in the 80’s. Polaroid made instant film photography so much fun. Since Polaroid film has started being made again over the past few years and the Polaroid camera has been revamped into today’s modern instant film camera like the OneStep, the collaboration between Puma and Polaroid couldn’t be more timely with the Puma RX-O X Polaroid Sneaker.
My husband Gary is a Polaroid photographer and he also upcycles vintage Polaroid cameras via his upcycledclassics.com shop, cleans and repairs them, paints them in all sorts of bright and bold color block colorways so, being the fans of Polaroid and Puma that we are, getting our hands on the RS-O X Polaroid sneaker was great!!
The Polaroid RS-O X sneaker is a very high quality, incredibly comfortable and the cushioning is superb. The marshmallow color is subtle and goes with just about any outfit. The styling is spot-on with the iconic rainbow colors of the Polaroid color spectrum on the shoe tongue, there is leather and suede overlay, reflective details are also present and they represent the flash of the Polaroid cameras. The attention to detail on this shoe is amazing and it has already become a full-fledged collectors item. I am so excited for Christmas and all the instant Polaroid camera pictures we’ll be taking and capturing this season!!
Spending time today at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) and I’ve got comfort and color on my mind. I knew right away I would be wearing my Puma RS-X Bold sneakers with a color block top. SFMOMA is full of inspiration and delight and I wanted to be filled with that vibe today.
The RS-X Bold comes in at least 3 colorways and today I chose the Black/ Andean Toucan/ Orange Popsicle sneaker. I have very picky feet when it comes to shoes and I just can’t stop talking about how much I love the Puma RS-X. This is one of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn and I can’t get enough of all the colorways Puma is releasing. I love color and comfort!!
The RS-X dates to the 1980s and was a running system shoe, which Puma has since revamped with their innovative tech and fashion-forward style for today’s market. The RS-X provides extreme cushion making it one of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. The RS-X bold is made of a black mesh upper with leather and rubber overlays in lots of bold color block colors, a chunky design and features the PUMA name right on the side. Even the soles of the shoes pop so you leave a trail of color wherever you go!!
I don’t know another shoe that can compliment a priceless Roy Lichtenstein pop art painting or a stunning Marilyn Monroe pop art screen print by Andy Warhol, but these shows sure do!! I’ve already snapped up so many Puma RS-X sneakers and can’t wait to share pics, styling and reviews on upcoming posts. Hurry on over to Puma and snap up your RS-X sneakers in your favorite colorways before they sell out because once they are gone, they are gone!!
